Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DigicovAI ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the ConNote mobile application (the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

ConNote allows you to scan a physical business card using your device's camera, or upload an image of a card, so the App can automatically extract contact details such as name, phone number, email address, company, and job title. Extracted details are added to a "Cards" section within the App. You may optionally save any extracted contact to your device's native Contacts app using the "Save Contact" feature.

Card image processing and text extraction occur locally on your device. Saved card details are stored in our database so they remain available to you across sessions.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian to use the App.

To use the App, you must sign in using Google Sign-In (OAuth). By signing in, you authorize us to receive basic profile information from your Google account (name, email address, profile picture) to create and manage your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity under your account within the App.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or misused the App.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or internal business purposes. This license does not permit you to sell, rent, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the App, or use it to build a competing product.

The App uses on-device text recognition to extract information from scanned or uploaded card images. Text extraction technology is not perfect and may occasionally produce incomplete or incorrect results. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any extracted contact details before saving them or adding them to your device's Contacts app.

You agree that you will:

1. Only scan or upload business cards you have a lawful right to process;
2. Not use the App to collect or store contact information in a manner that violates applicable privacy laws;
3. Not attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the App's functionality or security;
4. Not use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; and
5. Not use automated means (bots, scripts) to access or interact with the App.

You retain ownership of the card images you scan or upload and the contact information extracted from them ("Your Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to provide the App's features to you. We do not use Your Content for advertising or sell it to third parties. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to collect and store any contact information you scan or upload.

You may delete individual saved cards directly within the App at any time. You may also request deletion of your entire account and associated data by contacting us at digicovai@gmail.com.

The App, including its design, source code, features, and branding, is the proprietary property of DigicovAI and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for Your Content, nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary materials.

The App uses Google Sign-In for authentication, subject to Google's own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of Google's services.

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted card data will always be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DigicovAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the App after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
